Roxy Theatre (1953)
This movie theatre was built in 1949, torn down in 1967. It was located on Kingston Road, west of Lawrence Avenue East, near Poplar Road. (My mom took photo.)

Back in 1983, the location of 238 Augusta Avenue in Kensington Market was a butcher shop. In 2019, it was the Hibiscus vegan cafe, and I sold them a print of this. 🤣 After that, it was the Big Fat Burrito. Presently vacant / for lease, probably condo soon.
