This Adler Model 87, I believe is in a nice cabinet on Craigslist. Watching videos, this thing is super sturdy and capable of a perfect zigzag stitch down to the finest pitch, satinlike. It's close to industrial duty. Tempting, but needs special needles.

I obsess over vintage Japanese anything, but particularly sewing stuff and anything relating to space/space travel/aliens etc.
...so naturally, this is one of my prized possessions !

Dress so close to finished. I need more binding for the back of the sleeves, & fasteners. This is a 3-piece pattern (Mrs. Depew) c. 1917 housedress. Not visible; the doubled white fabric I added at the bottom to both get it longer & so I don't have to hem it.
