For the municipal focus meeting for the #VisionZeroCouncil, I hope they bring in Mark Moriarty and @erinstewartct to talk about their plans/actions. They also received funding from @CRCOG1's successful Safe Streets for All grant application. The COG/Muni combo would be impactful.

Remaining question- as of the last update you could not pull street level data to generate a list of the top 10-20 most dangerous stretches of roads in the State of Connecticut. #VisionZeroCouncil
As part of their pilot program you could query at person level (ex. age, gender, etc) - their mission was to provide a full comprehensive view. #VisionZeroCouncil

#hb5917 #visionzerocouncil - the subcommittees drafted and put forward the policies in this bill. It was over a year of meetings, discussions and drafting. There were some challenges conversations. No one was turned away from participating.
Two :#hb5917 #VisionZero- there were a few “I support these efforts but not this way.” Here is why that doesn’t fly : the #VisionZeroCouncil leadership was comprised of agency folks but the subcommittees were *anyone* who wanted to be involved.

Maybe this needs to be part of the #VisionZeroCouncil policy recommendations - municipalities with deadly roads cannot turn down money to to fix the issues on local roads.
