What a beautiful country we have in #Canada. So grateful.
Here’s beautiful #CapeBreton #NovaScotia on the east coast of Canada looking over the Atlantic Ocean

Cape Split in Nova Scotia is where forest trails lead to epic cliffs and Fundy tides. One of Canada’s most stunning coastal hikes.

Map on a sign along the trail. Telling you that you've reached LONG LAKE POOL, on the Liscomb River Trail
looking between a narrow trail that looks to the pool on the river, huge rock on the right, and a series of coloured ribbons on the tree on the left. The water barely visible looking further to the center
A pool in the river, nothing appears moving, it's smooth like glass, reflecting and dotted with water lillies or marsh grasses. a big rock on t his end, and trees overhang the river on the other side
A rather large rock, right where the trail should be. My wife could not rock climb, she can barely walk with a cane. I had to push and pull to get her over this spot
♪ I saw the sign ( and you could miss some, but not this one)
MODERATE #trail, here, past that big rock in the path.
My wife needs a cane. There was some PUSH-PULL moments to #hike past this pool

My videos aren't on YouTube, but Cory McGraw's are.
We've walked over this Trailhead #Waterfall on #Liscomb River Trail & completed the loop back to the #7 Highway on the other side of the river. #WAYCTV

Technically, there's a blue TRAIL sign on the right (not pointing exactly at the trail) and the illusion of an old overgrown logging road. This is the best part, before you get around the corner, you'll have wet feet, unless, you wore those GOOD HIKING BOOTS I mentioned?
One of the ruts of the covergrown logging road is actually a stream now. With high boots, you can navigate around but be prepared for wet feet
After you have walked a short distance, you see a sign that indicates there is a river trail. It even has an entrance trellis to guide you in. After that, you're on your own. You won't get lost, but you won't be on the *path* all the time
A small waterfall with big rocks. Depending on the time of year, there may be several NEW Waterfalls in locations like this. This time of years, there's about 4 visible. You see different views from each side, I recommend the wet feet and the full trail loop.
Ticks are everywhere, take reasonable precautions.
There's lots of deer, deer ticks, long grass & bushes
We had to go Counter Clockwise, the roughest side first.
