The interior of the cathedral, the stained glass windows, and the paintings everywhere are simply incredible!
Since there's no taller architecture in #Vysehrad (compared with #Prague Castle area) the sunshine goes through the stained glass (I feel) more beautifully in St. Peter & St. Paul Cathedral.

"Rotunda of St. Martin." the oldest architecture remaining in Prague. In the time of Thirty years war, weapons were stored there. It used to be important faculties for defense, with connections to "the Casemates and the Gorlice Hall." While we can enjoy Prague Castle as destination of charming art, if you take "castles" as "faculties for defense," Vysehrad is so much fun!!
Next time when I visit #Prague at #Vysehrad I'd like to try a guide tour to the underground of "Rotunda of St. Martin." In the time of Thirty years war, weapons were stored there. It's connected to "the Casemates and the Gorlice Hall," where I took a guided tour last time.

Some of the original statues from the #CharlesBridge are kept. This was once a military assembly point, an ammunition and food depot, and later an air-raid shelter.
The 300-square-meter, 3-meter-high cellar is suitable for storing the statues.
