From Padilla Bay to Bow then Edison, back down south to Mount Vernon and onto Conway where I had two tacos for lunch, then heading over to the tourist city of La Conner before heading up north to the start. I even saw a chicken cross the road (don’t ask me why).

I was able to wait for that one cloud of rain to pass by, then a little nice cool sun, I snagged a ride! Out to Joseph Whidbey State Park and back 18.34 miles. Looking NNW, there's the San Juan Islands in the background. The sea was quit choppy with the winds.
