I also got to a happy spot with my Dark Angels armour recipe, which I feel strikes the right balance between results and speed.

He isn't going to win Golden Demon, but personally I'm happy with how he looks given the relatively small amount of time invested. I can easily bash out a squad to this standard in 2-3 evenings and not get bored doing it.

I then do a light and patchy drybrush of Kabalite Green followed by Gauss Blaster Green to bring out the base details, add a bit of green to subtly complement the red without going full christmas tree, and nod to the Goblin Green glory days.

Five miniatures for Warhammer 40k: Imperial Guard Rough Riders on bikes, a kitbash using bikesand legs from the GSC Jackals, Cadian torsos and heads (old and new), weapons from Krieg Death Riders, as well as several other bits. Bikes and riders are painted in the urban camo scheme of my army. Their leader has stopped his bike and points forward with his power sword, the others - armed with lances with frag tips - are advancing. One rider, the one with a guidon, performs a wheelie.
The Cadian metal command squad (sans the standard bearer) and the metal regimental advisors, in all their unpainted and shiny glory. In the background the custom Rough Rider unit on bikes, albeit in a slightly less finished state.
These Rough Riders go vrooom.
With this unit (almost) done, it might finally be time to paint the Cadian metal command squad and the regimental advisors.
