The anticipated westerly drift expected from Severe Tropical Cyclone #Zelia failed to eventuate overnight and as a consequence forecast tracks have put Port firmly back in the cross-hairs for possible direct impacts later today.

Distinct differences in forecast track for TC #Zelia #18U, with the US JTWC favouring a drift further west before dropping onto the coast and the BoM suggesting the storm will remain quasi-stationary prior to making landfall on Friday.

Both suggest a strong impact on the #Pilbara 🌀
