A screenshot of Penelope Atchison.XCF, her original GIMP project that was saved from GIMP 3.0.2-1. Due to how much slowdown I've been getting by doing the most mundane of things, such as trying to move a path node, I uninstalled it. After finding an installer for GIMP 2.10.38 on GIMP's repo, I installed that version onto my computer while moving all my user data from the GIMP 3.0 folder to the new GIMP 2.10 folder. Now I can work much faster than what I could do previously, since GIMP 3.0 kept chugging super hard on my laptop to the point the program kept freezing, and my patience was wearing thin at that point.
I've been cooking behind the scenes with Penelope, and this is what I have of her so far. The coloring is all done as-is, but the best part? Shading and highlights, plus adding textures! It's also time-consuming, but I'll get it done before my birthday. Alt text is included! #wipsky #artsky #ocsky
