Something I tried to pass off as an intro shot in my WIP webcomic. Got too lazy and this thing takes up a whole page. No way I'm leaving this in like this.

Something closer to what I want the first main area to look like. This mighty city has more shapes and detail than my first pass. Trying to make the 3 towers the focal point with two little figures seen in the lower half of the image. Tried to make sense of the buildings but at least it's busier compared to the before.

Reviewed my WIP webcomic a lot and admit I'm not satisfied with how it's turning out so far.

I see I mainly want and need to improve on backgrounds and composition.

So I'm going to keep watching tutorials until I get it!

WIP Lineart Cover Page for the first chapter of my WIP Webcomic. The tentative name of the webcomic is "Flames of Ascension". A trio of OCs are standing together presenting themselves to the viewer.

I had a goal to "do" lineart for the first half of my WIPwebcomic by the end of this weekend.

Feeling weird though, because I went to a friend's funeral.

So I'm not pushing for perfection.

However, out of my lining phase so far, this page is the one I like the most!

After a good way through the sketching phase, I gave my #WIPwebcomic a true once-through to comment on what I wanted to change.

One common thing I did was that I made A LOT of same-looking poses, so I sketched out some different poses/angles to try instead.

Art of the trio of OCs in a sort of a group embrace. In the center, Mia has her arms around the shoulders of Janna (on the viewer's left) and Pudo (on the viewer's right) pulled in for a huddle or group pose thing. The background is a gradient of the main trio's colors along with patterns of a playing card, a hammer, and a torch.

This may be a WIP (or I may call it done), but I wanted to make more art of my OCs!

Might use this file to try and re-learn shading/highlighting/coloring/rendering with it.🤡

Didn't have the energy to work on my webcomic after work daily this week... but I got to today!

This truly will take a while but I want to share my favorite sketches of the main trio so far.

I sketched two pages before midnight!

Best part is that it felt like fun and not a slog!

I still need to work on drawing characters consistently but I'm mostly satisfied with how it's looking 😁

I'll definitely go back to correct a lot of things before lining anything.

It's not the first page of the comic but I'm already starting to see it take shape!

I gotta work on characters being drawn consistently (among many other things) but I still got a looooong way to go.
