I name them by hitting a random tarot card 11 times and then getting inspired by themes of said card, but I don't write it down. Just happy to have the names + inspo for character themes.
I kind of turn all of them into new OCs.

You can name NPC wolf packs which I mostly use to identify my high-priority targets (leader pair names on caps) in combat...
on caps - leaders, kill them and it ends their whole pack
