I guess I've been vaguely aware that Krewe of Oshun exists, but it was just now, listening to "Tudo Bem" on #WWOZ, that I learned about the connection to Yoruba religion - and, by extension, to 🇧🇷Candomble, 🇵🇷Santeria and
🇭🇹Vodou.
I first heard it on #WWOZ. One of the DJs (who spins under the name 'Black Mold') sometimes does a show devoted to unusual covers.

I realize that schools in New Orleans have been open, in some cases, for several weeks already. That's sonething hard for me to wrap my head around, coming from a place where school NEVER started b4 Labor Day.
But I've loved this song since I first heard it on #WWOZ years ago.
