In honor of the 250th anniversary of the British Evacuation of Boston yesterday, we strolled down to the harbor for #WalksOnWednesday, pondering if Paul Revere, Jr. might have done the same to witness their departure!

If you have been by the House in the last week, you will have seen scaffolding going up. Soon it will be time for the roofers and masons who will replace our roof and repoint the back chimney to do their parts.

Taking an indoor #WalksOnWednesday today to feature a very rare Paul Revere letter, currently on loan to us from Bruce R. Bartlett and only on display in our Visitor Center this month! Revere wrote it to his son Joseph Warren Revere in June of 1810. Come see it if you can!
