Racists at the Phoenix Waste Management Open thought they could get away with their drunk harassment—until social media put them on blast. Actions have consequences, and jobs are on the line. Keep that same energy when you’re sober. #Accountability #WasteManagementOpen #RacistsGettingFired

A photograph of the sign welcoming fans as they enter the Waste Management Open. The sign reads “Respect the Fans. Respect the Players. Respect the Game.” This golf tournament is known for the tens of thousands of drunk fans that visit the tournament grounds over the weekend. Many professional golfers, such as Tiger Woods, have said they will not return to this tournament due to the fan activity.
Normally these events are a bit crowded for me, but Tuesday at the Waste Management Open wasn’t awful.
