Nothing is what it seems in Karya. For Halaat and Lama, the exhaustion of surviving their former worlds have left them all the more vulnerable to the sinister shifts in this turbulent realm. They have each other to turn to, or so they think.

Halaat discovers her magick/creativity. The name/word Karya, in South & SoutheastAsian languages influenced by Sanskrit, has a meaning/use in my locale that translates to "creation."
