I've taken a liking to small bottles that I can sit in my windows 🌞
A few of my #houseplants struggle during the winter months 🪴 which is when I trim my #pothos (I have 50+ of them) & place the cuttings in decorative glass bottles near well-lit windows.

Another clear votive holder holds more pothos cuttings getting light from both the front entrance & dining room windows.
An upcycled wine bottle - also clear so the roots can take in direct sunlight, sits on one of my dinning room corner unit shelves; home to my ever-growing #Cookbook collection.
Upcycled clear pillar candle holder now used for water propagation on living room bookshelf where it gets direct sunlight. This one holds monstera cuttings.
Upcycled clear bottle that once held Vodka is now used to root pothos cuttings.
A square votive candle holder holds short pothos cuttings. The votive's small size allows it to be placed in my dinning room shelf unit that's home to many of my cookbooks.
Whenever the house gets too dry #WaterPropagation begins 🌱 using upcycled bottles, vases, & candle holders.

Water propagation project I'm working on, Forsythia, golden pothos, and orchid.
The pothos secretes a growth hormone for roots to grow, and it's generally quicker with water prop. And it usually encourages other plants to root. #plants #waterpropagation

Disappointed my water propagated spathyphylum hasn’t bounced back as usual. Attempting to revive by changing the water, putting some water from a healthy plant sibling and a photos stem in to help the process.
