Rounding out #Wattober with a parody of a Halloween classic.
Who's going to help me light the black candle to summon these fine witches tonight?
You were so distraught by the Jays' loss that you just went with no tags at all on this one, is that it? #Wattober
A movie poster for "No More Witches" modelled after the 1993 "Hocus Pocus" poster. Tim Key is dressed as Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker), Alex Horne is dressed as Winnifred (Bette Midler), and Mark Watson is dressed as Mary (Kathy Najimy). Loky replaces the immortal cat form of Thackery Binx, and they are all riding on Fatberg, flying in front of a full moon over the skyline of Bristol. The movie is produced by Haiminh Le Pictures. This is a digital painting done on Procreate, primarily with the gouache and gloaming brushes. Most of the outlines were traced from a composition created from the original movie poster and various other images. The fonts used are New Waltograph, Palatino, and Captain Kidd.
I haven't been able to stop thinking about "what if Hocus Pocus, but No More Jockeys" so I made it exist. Happy Halloween!

Good morning, what's this!? Paint me yellow and call me a banana (animal), it's a proper #Wattober comic. You beautiful human (animal), you!
A 'comic book' page done in black linework and Ben-Day dots with yellow accents. It portrays a moment from No More Jockeys set 4, game 7, about 11 minutes in. Horne and Key sing a song pointing out various facial features. Watson joins in, adding first 'my dick,' and then 'my cock' to the lyrics, causing all three grown-ass men to break down in the giggles about it. Watson eventually recovers enough to play 'Michael J Fox, no more animals in your name,' which inevitably causes a bit of confusion as to whether birds are animals. Shockingly, Horne suggests bananas are animals, Watson suggests bins are animals, but Key somehow gets it right and acknowledges that toads, teacher, and yaks are all animals before asking, "What if a yak flies?"
Still doing No More Jockeys comics for #drawtober! This one feels most appropriate for #Wattober as well, as Watson takes us on an unexpected educational journey through anatomy and phylogeny.
Yes, another lovely comic- but I've got to say, this is really starting to feel intentional, Michelle. #Wattober is obviously a more clever hashtag than #drawtober. 'Draw' doesn't even have a 'to' in it.
Just look at that sexy gentleman! The other ones are there, too. If you're into that sort of thing. #Wattober
