“You two aren’t back together, are you?” Not particularly. It’s not like that. She’s the girl that I rely on in crisis, but she’s usually the one plunging me into a worse crisis. The girl I look to to light up a room when I’m struggling, but still wants to pawn me off on other girls because she thinks they’d be a better fit. The one who understands me better than I know myself at this point, but there was probably a reason I got rid of those memories. We aren’t together like that, not really. Not quite.
