Yes! It is possible! ๐
What I have here is a fan - made remake of 8 bit Sonic The Hedgehog for the C64.
I have to emulate it, as it requires a RAM expansion unit. Which I don't have.
It's surprisingly good, considering what it runs on. ๐

Outrun Europa.
A bit of a departure from other Outrun games in the series. ๐
In this game, you take on the role of Simeon Kurtz, a secret agent tasked with delivering documents to Berlin.
Unfortunately, enemy agents have stolen the documents... and your Ferrari F40...1/2
The #WeekOfC64 continues!
This is Square Scape 2.
There were quite a few "cosy" puzzle games for the C64. Here, you had to guide your square around a board, hitting all the targets, before getting to the goal, in a limited number of moves.
But it's not quite as simple as that. ๐
Once you... 1/2

RoboCop.
Back in the day, Movie tie-in games were quite a big thing. To a degree, I guess they still are.
In RoboCop, you play as Robo / Alex Murphy in what is essentially a "run 'n gun" game, where you have to traverse scenes, taking down the bad guys.

Frank Bruno's Boxing.
Essentially a remake of Super Punch Out, this boxing game sees Frank take on a series of increasingly difficult boxers, from Canadian Crusher to Peter Perfect, to see if he can knock them out 3 times in three minutes.

Back in the day, The Oliver Twins created a small community of cartoon eggs, called The Yolkfolk.
The protagonist of these was called Dizzy, & CodeMasters published a series of games featuring him.
Treasure Island was the 2nd game in the series, but it was my 1st Dizzy game.

Something a bit different this week.

We'll kick off with Turbo Outrun.
SEGA's sequel to the original classic arcade racer was ported to the C64 by Probe Software & published by US Gold.
Interestingly, this is considered one of the best ports of the title to a home computer.

I finish off my week of C64 with The Real Ghostbusters.
A game from a cartoon of my childhood and, as I learned many years later, actually a conversion of an arcade game.

Tusari.
The penultimate game in my week of C64 is this Barbarian-like game from Element 114.
Tsuari must fight her way past goblins and monsters across 3 levels to ultimately win her freedom.

Arkanoid - Revenge of Doh.
Taito's Breakout style arcade classic comes to the C64. It offers interesting power - ups to the classic Breakout formula, including ghost, guns and multi-ball.

Outrun Europa.
Strangely enough, and even though this version departs a bit from other versions story-wise, this is actually one of my favourite ways to play the game.
Simeon Kurtz, top agent in Unit 6, must race across Europe to recover his stolen car & the... 1/2

The Curse of Volcan.
An example of an almost lost art of gaming. The Text Adventure.
Yep, this is one of those games where you have to type commands like GO WEST, to progress.
Ultimately, the goal is to defeat the evil wizard Volcan.

Stunt Car Racer.
Race your specially adapted car on elevated tracks against a computer controlled opponent.
But be careful!
Land a jump too hard, and you'll damage your car. If it takes too much damage, you're out.

Wanted to do something a bit different this week and share some games from my first ever computer. The Commodore 64.
Might as well start with the 1st game I ever loaded. Agent X 2. A strange little game that combined shoot 'em up, Elevator Action & Breakout... 1/2
