A sunset with crepuscular rays, photographed from the slopes of the Ochil Hills in Clackmannanshire and looking over the Forth Valley towards Stirling. The City and Stirling Castle sits behind the Wallace Monument as sun rays radiate from the cloud textured sky.

New boots. No way was I staying in when the sun was being so sunny and after the clouds had been so cloudy for weeks, so off up the hill to break in a new pair.

Watching a sliver of a sunset down by the water. Camera wasn't ready to catch the seal that came by and snorted its indifference at me, but appreciated a few moments of #Twixmas calm down at the old harbour.

"Coops, remember six months back when we did this? A sunny day, same temperature, and we sighed and said 'might be sunny, but there's a chill in the air; winter's coming!'... then today, sunny day, same temperature, and we're smiling and like 'there's a good bit of warmth in that sun; summer's coming!'. What's that all about Coops?

Harps, you're 20 months, you're overthinking this. Go grab that stick over there and chuck it three feet again for me. I like that"

A mile is a long way to walk when your two legs - and your four furry legs - are as short as they are. So, we'll just coorie-on down on the couch here for a bit and have a little nap before we start another adventure.

Love watching these two grow, learn and snooze! together. One about to turn eight, one just turned 20 months. Inseparable.

My Fridays now ๐Ÿ˜

Colder weather coming next week, so getting the bird feeders cleaned and stocked to help our garden visitors along a bit. Have little helpers/hinderers to ensure it all goes smoothly/slowly.

An atmospheric pink tinged photograph taken not long after sunset and the almost synchronised moonrise. Shot at a low angle from the edge of the River Forth as it winds east and towards the Abbey Craig with the Wallace Monument and almost full 'Beaver Moon' reflected in the still waters. Framed by autumnal trees becoming more bare as most of their foliage has now fallen

Almost a full beaver shot.

Moonrise reflected in the #RiverForth and above the #WallaceMonument as I left work behind for the week.

Full #BeaverMoon appears tomorrow, but clouds forecast here.
