Drawn at #WeltderGifte: Nyctimantis brunoi, an orb weaver, a tarantula and a golden dart frog. This tiny zoo-museum is the only place in the world outside of Brazil that N. brunoi can be seen! And it is a really weird frog - it can envenomate you by headbutting you! Wild!
was drawing a gaboon viper at #weltdergifte named Lady Di, when a little girl came over and asked me "how did you do that?". I confusedly replied "with a pencil - you want to try?" and gave her a short art lesson. She did extremely well

they are a gila monster and a Rio Fuerte beaded lizard
they are so delightful, remarkably beautiful and just look prehistoric... why so pettable if not allowed to pet...
more drawings from "Welt der Gifte". Meet Bud Spencer the Gaboon viper. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to draw the Gaboon viper, their paterns are so complicated, and their heads so massive and bumpy. Very cool looking snakes.
