'Good King Wenceslas' doesn't mention the Nativity, odd for a Christmas song, but 'on the Feast of Stephen' refers to 26 December, St Stephen's Day, the Second Day of Christmas.

Good King #Wenceslas: A #Carol (1895). Introduced by #WilliamMorris, this book was designed by Arthur Gaskin, who dedicated it to his wife, Georgina. A jeweller & illustrator, she designed the title page. It's currently on display in the Victorian Radicals exhibition #Birmingham #Museum & #Gallery

My favourite carol of all time.
Duke #Wenceslas of Bohemia was a very real, and very much loved, monarch who was canonized posthumously for doing exactly what this carol chronicles - regularly going out disguised with his page to give alms to the poor.
