a handful of large red radishes freshly pulled from the garden
Pulled some giant radishes from our salad garden yesterday.
I’m impressed with this ‘Rivoli’ variety from #WestCoastSeeds. Even at this size, they are crunchy and very tasty, not woody.

Photo depicts another variety of Nasturtiums we are growing this year, called “Black Velvet”, which is very striking with the flowers of a very deep, very dark red, which contrast beautifully with the bright green coloured leaves. This Black Velvet variety is quite different from the other, brighter and equally beautiful variety of red Nasturtium, “Empress of India” that we are also growing this year, which I will post once I’ve got a decent photo. Seeds purchased from West Coast Seeds, located in Delta, BC, Canada, which ship to both 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸.
🌱 This is another Nasturtium we are growing this year. It’s called “Black Velvet” & is very striking, w/ very deep, dark red flowers.
