The #WestrayLaw has probably been one of the signature pieces of Workplace Safety Legislation enacted in the last 20 years, but has been under utilized. 1000 recorded worker deaths, 240,000 workplace injuries annually...26 charges, 9 convictions, only 2 rec'd jail time.

I am happy to read that Minister Piccini took my words to heart. Currently fines levied against the boss due to workplace fatalities are seen as the cost of doing business.
These minimums are the start. We also need to see #WestrayLaw enforced!
