International Holocaust Remembrance Day - January 27th
Anne Frank’s Tree. “I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles.” Ann Frank’s diary, 23 Feb 1944. Of the 6 million European Jews that were victims of the nazis during the Holocaust, over 1.5 million of these were Children. Sadly, from workplaces to playgrounds, prejudice and discrimination still exist. Photo taken by War Heroes Remembered at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
We must ensure these atrocities are never repeated and keep alive the memory of all those whose lives were cut short.
