Southern Humboldt Bay. Photo taken Jan. 22, W, • 17:46 (~ 20 min after sunset). The sunset itself was much more spectacular but unfortunately it took me about 15 minutes of fast walking to get a relatively unobstructed view. I suspect the 🍊ier than normal hue was, sadly, due to smoke from the terrible fires that hit LA to the south. Due to the lack of wind the waters of the bay reflect the sky like Achille’s burnished bronze shield. Or something. 🤷🏼♂️ 😼
