Premier Wab Kinew welcomed two families of women and children from Gaza to Manitoba on Canada Day at the start of a Leonard Sumner concert at The Forks. Premier sang them a song with his drum. His wife Lisa and Tasha Spillet, Leonard's wife, welcomed them with a blanket ceremony.
