At #DenverUnionStation this AM I was shocked to see the @amtrak.com Eastbound #CaliforniaZephyr which normally rolls thru here at 6:30 PM and out by 7:00 PM and it’s 5:00 AM!!! Rumor has it they have a broken engine. Ugh. #WinterParkExpress #skitrain is on time for a 7:00 AM departure.
It’s another beautiful day in #Denver #Colorado near #DenverUnionStation home of the world famous #WinterParkExpress ski train to @winterparkresort.bsky.social and I’ll be volunteering on that train tomorrow. Just saw the westbound #CaliforniaZephyr depart for Emeryville, CA. Jealous.

GDT had a great trip on the #WinterParkExpress this past Sunday where members did a number of activities including skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing & exploring the town of Fraser.
