Last evening we got so much rain I swore we were being washed away.

Today everything is sparkling and bright.
Birds chirping loudly, monkeys crossing my rooftop, thumping as they go to the neighbor’s carambola, and my dogs barking along the fence after them.

I dropped by to say hello to my aunt on my way home from the farm last evening, and she gave me these two mangoes.

It’s not mango season yet, so I’m a little psyched!

I’ve written about mango times in many of my books. That fruit coloured my childhood in shades of yellow and orange.
