It was warm that day so Wolfy wasn’t in a hurry—even less so than usual. She always slows down in the heat. We scratched from (even warmer) day two, her first DNF. I am glad to have a pic of her last race, whatever the outcome 🤍

Hi friends, we’re back from our June break. The Wolfgren had a smöl scheduled surgery last week and is recovering well. We used the time to also have all her teeth checked & cleaned. She is currently the world’s cutest and most confused satellite dish.

Wolfy has so many new friends. And it only took her 24 hours to overcome her apprehension and dive right into the fun! Though she does have an advantage…she lived in a sleddog yard the first 7 years of her life.

We met up with some friends we met at local dryland events, for an “end of season” run. They were very patient stopping and giving us chances to catch up, & Wolfy had a blast chasing (even if she was a bit of a snot with her friends in the parking lot).

We are all set for Cherry Hill Dryland Dash this Sunday, 12/3! #wolfygirl is one of six in the One-Dog-Scoot, she’s set her eye on the red lantern. #wyliedogg also seeks to defend his red lantern in the Fun Run in a large field of ten. Should be a fun day.
