Similar trends were seen across all modalities, though the representation in interventional echocardiography remained low - mirroring interventional cardiology. Women in cardiovascular imaging in the US increased by 35% from 2013–2022.

“Increased physical activity including taking more daily steps was linked to a lower risk of death from cardiovascular disease among postmenopausal women with a history of cancer. One hour per day of moderate to vigorous physical activity reduced participants’ risk of death from any cause by 40% and risk of death from cardiovascular disease by 60%.” American Heart Association, 2025
🚶♀️ Walking saves lives.
In postmenopausal women with a cancer history, 1hr/day of moderate activity cut CVD death by 60%. Just 5–6k steps/day showed the most benefit.
More movement = lower risk. Less sitting = longer life.
