Carolyn S. Shoemaker, b. Jun 24, 1929. Co-discoverer of Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9. She also discovered 32 comets and 500+ asteroids.

Side note: I had the honor of meeting her when I worked at Lowell Observatory. Lovely #WomanAstro!
