A glorious dream I had for this event 8 years ago is nearing the bottom of the garbage pit with this orange character and his friends at FIFA going to turn it into #Woodstock99 for sports.

I almost am at the point of saying boycott the #FIFAWorldCup this year. Almost. If its not for the high ticket prices that you may need an IMF loan for, the over commercialization of it that will make #Woodstock99 like child's play, today's actions from US president Trump on Venezuela is the finale.

This guy is a grifter. He is one of the reasons why the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be a disaster that will unfold. It will be like #Woodstock99, except the sports version.

I was so excited almost eight years ago this was coming, but this event has turned into the worst example of crass commercial capitalism since #WoodStock99. Very disappointed, but not surprised. I have no problem FIFA making money. They will get their money, but this is ridiculous.

Honestly, and to be fair, #FIFA is killing the fun for the 2026 FIFA Mens world Cup, turning it into the 21st century/sports version of #Woodstock99.
