Metal Nicho, with glass fronted box. About 4c3x1.5” deep. The outside frame of the tin is washed on blue and copper and the outside has a creamy cotton fringe running all around it. Inside the window in large bold lettering “IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE LIFE BIG”. A couple of tassels and a tag are dangling from the window handle. Be PRESENT on the bottom of the frame.

The word I chose for 2024 was “present”. As in being present, as in gift.
By representing the word visually in a small shadow box (nicho) I can delve into the multiple meanings of the word, imprint its possibilities inside me.
