A selfie of a person with bright green hair smiling softly with their eyes closed. Their face, neck, and chest are dotted in colorful paint to represent eosinophils. Overlaid text reads:

“#WORLDEOEDAY

I spent the day doing a livestream, raising awareness, talking about my EoE experience and raising funds for the CURED foundation all while playing silly video games. We painted dots on my skin to represent the Eosinophils that no longer plague me thanks to new medication and research.

5 years ago, I don’t think I could have imagined I would be here! No longer symptomatic, only taking 1 medication, able to eat freely and living my life as fully as possible.

I didn’t think I would ever feel “healthy” between my spine and my Eosinophilic disorders.

Diagnosis changes lives, awareness changes lives, medical research and patient advocacy changes lives. It changed mine”
with a green heart emoji at the end.

Spent the day streaming, painting eosinophils on my skin, and talking all things EoE while playing silly games.
5 years ago I never thought I’d get to say I’m symptom-free, eating what I want, and only on one med.
Awareness, research, and advocacy really do change lives—mine included.
