The one thing I’d like to say is be kind, not every disability is visible.
The sheer number of people who decide to make themselves the guardians of my morals and call me out for shamelessly using a disabled loo when I clearly don’t have anything wrong with me … 🙄

In honor of #WorldOstomyDay I'm going to rate my ileostomy bags. Last time I had a stoma I could only use one model due to the tricky placement, but this time I've gotten to shop around! I still haven't found the 100% perfect bag - they all have pros and cons. So, going from least to most favorite:
Saluting and sending love to the ostomy warriors and the great ostomates all over the world. Every journey with a stoma isn’t the same, but everybody with an ostomy story deserves respect, and not to feel any shame.

Today is #WorldOstomyDay! I'm so grateful ostomies exist (or I would be dead from UC) and so very grateful for the fantastic support I get in my region of Sweden: the ostomy nurses and IBD surgeon at my local hospital, and free supplies. (Which are easy to order online and delivered to my door.)
