Why Teach Population Dynamics - I enjoy promoting the use of relevant active learning strategies to help teachers and students learn the principals of population dynamics. - I think that population is at the heart of addressing the problems that are most pressing for our society - We need to educate our students about the environment and world in which we live and what effects our growing population has on both. - It’s an opportunity to equip educators to teach critical thinking about global challenges like population growth, sustainability, and resource distribution. - I care about the earth and hope to inspire others to also care and take positive actions.
