The co-discoverer of the Cori cycle was Gerty Cori's husband, biochemist Carl Cori. He too was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1947. They shared the Prize w/physiologist Bernardo Houssay who discovered the role played by pituitary hormones in regulating the amount of glucose in animals. #WorldDiabetesDay

The legal requirements that inform school boards’ policies and procedures for supporting students with prevalent medical conditions (Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Diabetes, and/or Epilepsy) in school
Strategies for supporting the inclusion and participation of students with prevalent medical conditions in school and daily management and risk reduction strategies to minimize student exposure to triggers and causative agents
Signs and symptoms of medical incidents and emergencies, and the steps to respond effectively
The four prevalent medical conditions, including their definition, prevalence, and impact on students
