A confiding pair of Kingfishers led the way back down the River Tiffey thro' the Alder avenue. Quite fat on the plentiful Minnows. Found a leg bone with meat still on. Assume not human as further up was a butchered marrow bone. #Barford #Wramplingham #norfolk #BirdsSeenIn2024 6/9

Wondrous density of Minnows in #RiverTiffey, some in full breeding regalia, but highest incidence of disease I've seen, incl. 2 with White Spot (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis) - 1st UK @inaturalist record!
