Set in a tropical location, eighteen hopeful singles will compete for the chance to have a soulmate and all the benefits that come with it such as: free healthcare and education, better job opportunities and exemption from soulmateless extermination at thirty. Due to limited resources and population control, only three couples can win. Are you ready to find the one who’s to die for? 28-year-old soulmateless Cera thinks the opportunity could represent a second chance until the show takes a dark turn and a fellow contestant is killed by the robot host. The infuriatingly attractive but mysterious Ryde swears he’ll get Cera home safely so long as they remain coupled to protect one another from elimination. But the fatal games they play for the nation’s entertainment pick the contestants off one by one, leaving Cera and Ryde to fight for their happily ever after—and to make it out alive.
