I just looked at #Christmas #Weather and it is turning calmer than before- BUT I'm really interested in Friday 12/20. Looks like a Miller A type storm (Low up the coast) may hit the Northeast. It will be inland a bit, so heavy rain along the coast but #Snow inland (some heavy). Stay Tuned! #Wx #WxNY

Today's severe #Weather is in the East Coast- sharp cold front is pushing through. Look how tight those lines (isobars) are below which means higher winds. Cold front will be narrow but intense in some areas. Binghamton, NY area may get strong snow squalls. Euro model animation below. #Wx #WxNY

Well look at that- The Euro #Thanksgiving #Weather model now agrees with the GFS- More Southern Track with heavy snow inland/northwest. Regarding winds in NYC- looks like ~13mph which is well below the #MacyDayParade balloon threshold of 23mph- IMO balloons are flying- But wet! #Wx #WxNY #WxNJ #WxPa

So nothing has really changed with the earlier #Thanksgiving #Weather model- but the media sounds like it's betting on the Euro. Tomorrow night should really get us a high confidence forecast. #Wx #WxNY #WxPa #WxNJ #WxVT #WxCt

Looking at #Thanksgiving #Weather, most of the action is in the Northeast & MidAtlantic. The GFS model has the storm following a southern path impacting mostly the MidAtlantic with light snow/rain. Another day another different Thanksgiving #Weather model. Today the Euro is saying the same thing as my last post. However, the GFS has sort of caught up. It agrees about the storm, but has it much further south. Looks like we'll have to wait till Monday for the real forecast. #Wx #WxNY #WxPA #WxNJ

OK the #Weather models are having real trouble figuring out Thanksgiving. Euro says nothing, GFS says storm- then GFS and Euro says nothing- NOW GFS says nothing and Euro says storm- all over 48hrs. I'll try to keep everyone updated. #Wx #WxPA #WxNJ #WxNY #WxCT
