As Wyoming's population is currently 576, 851, under this more representative and proportional system CA would elect 68, TX 50, FL 38, NY 34, etc. The new House total would be around 585.

The U.S. Senate represents states, not population. The U.S. House has been capped at 435 members for a century and is no longer representative by population, either.

The only way it works is if the House has true representation, which is why congress needs to pass the #WyomingRule. We need new norms and we need them yesterday.
If the house was representative of the people like we were taught it was back in school 1 out of every 8 Representatives would be from California.

All of those states would get more seats if we implemented the #WyomingRule or the #CubeRootRule in a new apportionment act. Almost 40 other states would too. We should also ban gerrymandering and strengthen voting rights at the same time. #UncapTheHouse
Your constituents are the most underrepresented in the House, thanks to the Reapportionment Act of 1929 capping the number of representatives at 435. We should have 17 more reps from California to be on par with folks in Wyoming.

You can't really with a state like Wyoming having so few people in a single district when compared to what a district in CA, FL, TX or NY contains. 30 some other states too. To make districts fair you'll have to do at least the #WyomingRule.
