In the last week we played #wyrmspan and #wingspan Today it was the turn of #Finspan. It was a close game as usual, M had a lot of end game powers and points whereas A had more schools of fish. A win by 3 points.

A close game of #Wyrmspan. A initially struggled to gain any food row dragons, M got off to a quicker start. By mid game A had a good engine, obtaining a few extra coins. Despite filling two caves and the extra coins, A lost by 4 points. M had more end game scoring and dragon points. #boardgames

In this game of Wyrmspan A did well at the end of round scoring and gaining extra coins. M had a lot of coins and bottles of milk. A got their engine going much more efficiently and won by 20 points.

Thoroughly enjoying the Wyrmspan expansion. New guilds add variety, eclectically as (generally) they are not as powerful as the originals. New income phase tightens the game up and gives some incentive to pass early. Fledglings are fine, but not revolutionary. #wyrmspan (2/x)

M’s caves in wyrmspan. Lots of end game scoring dragons were the winning factor.
We decided on playing a ‘span and chose Wyrm. We find this the most complex of the three games, taking the most time to play. M won in a high scoring match by having the most end of game scoring dragons.

Played Wyrmspan with the new Dragon Academy expansion. Wasn’t sure about fledglings, but ended up enjoying the play patterns. End round income choices are a great addition. Downside: caves usually had some benefit, but new caves felt more likely to have useless caves in hand. #boardgames #wyrmspan
