Lyna is the First shard counterpart of Agrias in #XIVExtended.

There is specific mention of Lyna humming parts of "Antipyretic" during a patrol in the Crystarium. Agrias catches onto the melody (and questions why someone on the First would know an Ivalician battle song).

Hikaru doesn't even react or move. Just snaps her fingers and the gawker gets bonked with Holy Spirit.

(I like to think at higher levels, Hikaru doesn't even need to be actively holding a weapon to be using her Paladin spells.)

Airships are too small.

Hikaru has the Lunar Whale! In #XIVExtended it's just as big as the original from FF4, so it can carry a LOT more people. It was originally made by the Loporrits as a prototype for later vessels (e.g. the Ragnarok in Endwalker).

Further development of the #XIVExtended timeline would be first and foremost.

But, extremely selfish as it sounds, it's equally "don't let the people who hurt you win." I've met many good people during my time in XIV, but I've also been severely burned by those I thought were close friends. 🧵

Scenario A: Yoshi and Kupo

No surname changes.
Mainly because Yoshi is the head of her noble house.
Theoretically Kupo could have assumed Ayarane as a surname upon marrying in, but because he chose his "human" surname (Cortado), Yoshi wants him to keep it.

*TECHNICALLY* the #XIVExtended party has two WoLs, the other being Kupo. But as a Moogle he is considered a speculative scenario ("what if Hydaelyn activated the Echo in a Moogle?") and has no desire to assume a leadership role in the party.

He is happy to defer to Hikaru and just be a DPS :P

#XIVExtended establishes that people just invent Limit Breaks for a number of reasons, and there's no single catalyst for what can will them into existence.

Hikaru doesn't get Hallowed Ground because #XIVExtended throws out the canon PLD job quests. So she invents her own during Stone Vigil as a replacement. Invincible Star! 🌟

I'm not sure if this directly answers, but in #XIVExtended Hikaru gets a crystal that has a recording of Insatiable as performed by the Exarch. In this timeline it is known to have a weakening effect on Sin Eaters, so Hikaru plays it when it's time for her to punch a Lightwarden. 🔊🔊🔊

now, if the likes of Brio/Ktisis got axed, I'd be a little more sore, since they're how I stage a lot of my #XIVExtended scenes and, tbh, are largely what's getting me through my crisis of artistic confidence while I can't work up the motivation to open Procreate. :S

One could argue the entirety of Hikaru's party counts.

Actually, it's a mix of both blood and found family. The "blood" part kicks in when Rei resurfaces in Endwalker (and especially when she's all "I have a son now? Cool!" re: Kiros).

Ardbert gets "downloaded" into Excalibur rather than fuse with Hikaru. Excalibur gets upgraded as a result.

He even comments on how strange it is to get stuffed into a *sword* of all things. His presence causes some of Hikaru's Paladin defensive abilities to change a smidge.

Shared teleports to aetherytes are not a Thing. You can take your stuff, but not your friends. This is SUPER enforced on other shards. Everyone has to initiate their own ports.

even though I haven't gone into it much, I feel like Dawntrail MSQ started off being more Rei's story than Hikaru's (since Rei bonded with Wuk Lamat very quickly and was the one to push for the party to go along with the Rite of Succession operation).
