The show isn't perfect- there is some clunky dialogue and a few missed opportunities. It doesn't quite reach the heights of #XMen97 or #YFNSM but that is ok. The ending is bold and will have you begging for a season 2.
#YourFriendlyNeighbourhoodSpiderman subtly references the #MCU, while carving out its own corner on the #MarvelAnimation slate.
It's creates a space for itself, and even homages some classic #SpiderMan tropes and dynamics. Albeit in some new and interesting ways. #YFNSM
The #DisneyPlus series gives #SpiderMan a new cast of characters, with new storylines that create a more fleshed out universe. While also keeping the story arcs personal & emotionally investing.
