League of Women Voters of San Francisco. Yes on Proposition L. This would generate much-needed funds for public transit through a reasonable business tax on rideshare and driverless car companies like Uber, Lyft, and Waymo. This is not a tax on individual rides, but on the revenue of these businesses. Prop L will prevent many cuts to Muni services and routes. Vote through November 5, 2024.
