Niangao yixing teapot

Does anyone here have any experience with Niangao (tu, ni) clay? I find a lot of porcelain items to be not to my liking, but I've heard Niangao performs like porcelain while retaining a patination like Yixing. I was considering a Yuezhongmsi, but.. $500 is steep
