Within a crucible of #GrecoTurkishWar & the aftermath of #WorldWarI, #Türkiye was born from ashes of the #OttomanEmpire. Its first constitution was adopted #ThisDayInHistory in 1921, establishing #nationalism as its core principle, thus inheriting the worst of the #YoungTurk era.
