Trees Count 2025 is here! Trees New York and our #YoungUrbanForester interns joined @NYCparks and inventoried trees at Herbert Von King Park. They inventoried 9 zones and put their identification skills and tree health knowledge in action to support #TreesCount2025!
We are thrilled to hire 16 high school students for YEAR 17 of our #YoungUrbanForester internship! On Day 1, they met the Trees New York team, learned about #treecare, and helped #steward & #water 50+ #trees including those planted at the Red Hook Houses thru our #TreesforNYCHA project. GO TEAM!
