#ConspiracyTheorists argue over #OrangeRevolution, but on #ThisDayInHistory in 2004 a new ballot in #Ukraine made #Yushchenko president over #Yanukovych. The first run-off was reversed but supreme court called a re-run. Provincial breakdown was the same but turnout was higher.

A controversial #OrangeRevolution (#ПомаранчеваPеволюція) began on #ThisDayInHistory in 2004. Up to a million protested the election of #Yanukovych. That election thrown out and re-run, with pro-western candidate #Yushchenko doing better. Claims of outside interference continue.
